Today’s article is going to be short, as I am working on getting everyone’s schedule up on the website so the entire season’s predictions can be posted. Below is the predictions for every playoff game, while the full rankings will be up on these new pages, underneath the Rankings section on our Main Page. For the Top 5 in each class, I have listed them at the bottom.
So without further ado, here is the predictions for all the games in the 605 this week. Last week, the computer was 41 for 51 in predicting the correct winner, with 19-25 (11-Man) and 22-26 (9-Man) splits. We had two perfect predictions with EP-J versus Tri-Valley (41 pts.) and HC/B versus Timber Lake (22 pts.). Overall, it was a pretty successful weekend for the computer. But that was last week, and we aren’t here to talk about the past. Let’s get into this week’s matchups.
I do want to point out that although there is only 1 upset prediction for the playoffs, any game that has a margin of victory that is one score or less starts on upset watch. Also, margin of victory is maxed out to 50 points for the mercy rule.
While these projections are based off of regular season results, predicting a perfect score can be very tough. These are expected results, with most games finishing in a ballpark area of our projections.
