Coltan Morlang also had a good day for Stevens, as the 1st baseman drove in a pair of runs.

Huron earned the split behind a big day from Dawysn Rodgers on the mound. The winning pitcher struck out 11 in 6 innings of work, giving up just 2 hits and 2 walks.
At the plate, Logan Leyendecker drew 3 walks for the Tigers and Layne Wenzel drove in a pair of runs.

Dylan Christenson smashed 2 hits and drove in 3 runs for the Scoopers.
Teammate Hunter Janzen also scored 3 runs on a pair of walks and Owen Cass went 2-2 with 2 RBIs.

The Scoopers put up 17 more hits in the second game of the doubleheader.
Kain Peters had 3 of those hits to lead the way, while Connor Cruickshank, Evan Stroud, Hayden Heckenlaible and Janzen each connected for 2 hits.

Freeman/Canistota 2, Vermillion 0
Riley Tschetter drove in both runs for the Sticks, including an RBI double in the 4th, while Tannen Auch scattered 5 baserunners and struck out 7 in the win.
For Vermillion, Connor Peterson and Connor Roerig drew 2 walks each.
EP-J 7, Centerville 5
EP-J took an early 5-0 lead and held off the Tornadoes for the victory.
Hunter Geary earned the save for the Huskies and scored twice on 2 hits.
Dakota Valley 15, Parker 4
The Panthers continued their campaign with a dominant road victory.
Dylan Lukken drove in 4 runs on a pair of hits for the winners, while Jackson Boonstra scored 4 times on 2 hits as well.
Also for the Panthers, Jaxon Hennies had a multi-hit day with 2 runs and Isaac Bruns hit the lone double for DV in the leadoff spot.
For Parker, Logan Bridges went 2-3 with 2 runs.
CLASS B REGION 2
Howard 7, Redfield 5
The Tigers held off a late rally from the Pheasants, as Redfield scored 3 in the final frame before a flyout to Griffin Clubb ended the contest.
Clubb finished with 3 RBIs for the Tigers, while teammates Luke Koepsell and Nolan Mentele collected 2 hits a piece.
For Redfield, Kevin Weller and Seth Siebrecht each went 2-4 with an RBI.
Howard 3, W-I-N 0
Jack Neises struck out 11 in the complete game shutout to earn the sweep for Howard.
At the plate, Kade Shumaker and Karysn Feldhaus each drove in a run on a hit.
Hamlin 7, Elkton 4
Booker Schooley struck out 11 in 4 2/3 innings of work to lead the way for Hamlin.
Teammate Ted Smith drove in the go-ahead run on a single in the bottom of the 5th, while both Gavin Maag and Tyler Tharaldsen connected for 2 hits in the win.
For the Blue Sox, Colt Beck went 2-4 with a pair of runs scored.
Sioux Valley 8, Hamlin 3
Jack Optiz went 4-4 with a triple and 2 RBIs as the Cossacks earned two wins on Sunday.
Braden Danzeisen and Bret Milton also had 2 hits each for the Cossacks.
For Hamlin, Watson Grantham, Riggs Prouty and Jacob Williams had multi-hit games in the loss.
Sioux Valley 12, Elkton 2 (6 IN)
Connor Gross lead the way with a dominant performance for the Cossacks.
Gross struck out 7 on the mound in the complete game effort, while going 3-4 at the plate with 2 doubles, 4 RBIs and 3 runs.
Teammate Jack Optiz also had a 4-RBI game and Broden Teske scored a trio of runs.
Wolsey-Wessington 10, O-R/R/A 0 (5 IN)
Gunner Brueggeman threw a 1-hitter with 8 strikeouts and 2 walks for the Outlaws.
Brueggeman also had a triple at the plate, while teammates Blaze Herdman and Carson Stephenson both went 2-3 with 3 runs scored.
Groton Area 10, O-R/R/A 0 (6 IN)
Bradin Althoff struck out 4 while giving up just 1 hit and 2 walk for Groton Area.
Offensively, the Tigers connected for 14 hits, including 3 each from Tate Larson, Logan Ringgenberg and Dillon Abeln.

Dell Rapids 10, Tri-Valley 1
The Quarriers made use of 8 walks in the contest, including 2 a piece from Treyse Eastman, Jack Henry, and Mason Stubbe.
Drake Eastman and Will Jaton also drove in a pair of runs for Dell Rapids and Joe Rechtenbaugh struck out 7 in 3 1/3 innings.
Dell Rapids 11, Baltic 2
Henry helped Dells earn the sweep with 8 strikeouts in 4 innings of work.
Rechtenbaugh lead the way at the plate, going 2-2 with a walk and 2 RBIs and teammate CJ Smith connected for 2 hits in the victory.
Lennox 8, HBE 1
The Orioles capitalized on a 5-run 3rd inning to secure the victory.
Braxton Musser and Cole Spieler each produced 2 hits in the contest and Conner Eich drove in a pair of runs on 2 walks and a hit.
In the loss, Ben Wilber went 2-3 with the lone RBI.
CLASS B REGION 4
PGDCWL 13, Winner/Colome 12 (12 IN)
The Honkers won a thriller, as Joey Foxley hit a walk-off in the 12th to earn the victory.
Both teams scored 3 runs through 7 frames, and added on 2 runs in 9th and 4 runs in the 11th before PGDCWL finally secured the win.
The Honkers had 18 hits in the contest, lead by Parker Bailey and Jaxon Christensen with 3 hits each. Bailey also had 4 RBIs in the victory.
For Winner/Colome, Pierce Nelson finished with 4 hits and 3 walks in the leadoff spot, and teammates Ryder Halligan, Zac Olson and Stratton Morehart each collected 3 hits as the Royals finished with 19 on the day.
Gregory County 6, CKL 2
In Region 4 action, Gregory County took down CKL behind a strong showing from Rylan Peck.
Peck didn’t give up an earned run in 5 2/3 innings of work, striking out 5. The winning pitcher also batted in the leadoff spot, going 2-3 with 3 runs scored.
Battermate Gunnar Stephens complimented Peck, as the catcher drove in 2 runs on a pair of doubles.
For CKL, Conway Collins went 2-3 on the day.
STM 19, Douglas 1 (5 IN)
Tyson Durhman hit 2 triples and drove in 4 runs from the leadoff spot as the Cavs dominated in Rapid City.
STM’s Jake Matthes and Holden Griswald added on with a pair of hits in the win.
