RECAP: The Langford Area Lions won a tough victory against Great Plains Lutheran, ending a 19-game losing streak for the Lions. Langford Area will now face Waverly-South Shore, and the opponent will not be an easy foe. Waverly-South Shore won 58-28 against the Lions on January 21st. Ending their season, Great Plains Lutheran finishes with a 2-12 record.
Region 2B
Potter County 58, Sunshine Bible Academy 15
RECORD: The Battlers won their first victory over Sunshine Bible Academy this season in a dominant fashion. Potter County will face Herreid-Selby Area in a rematch of their February 16th game.The Battlers lost the first time 55-33. Meanwhile, Sunshine Bible Academy finishes the season with a 0-16 record.

Estelline-Hendricks 54, Wessington Springs 22
Arlington 65, Iroquois-Doland 37
RECAPS: Estelline-Hendricks and Arlington will both play in the second round after strong victories on opening night. Estelline-Hendricks will now play Castlewood, the only undefeated team in the state. The Redhawks just played Castlewood last week, losing 63-28 at home. Arlington, meanwhile, will face Deubrook Area, who defeated the Cardinals 53-33 on February 5th.

Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 38, Mitchell Christian 35
RECAPS: The Elkton-Lake Benton Lady Elks snapped a 7-game losing streak with the road victory in Chester, while Oldham-Ramona-Rutland also won an upset victory over Mitchell Christian. The Lady Elks will played top-seeded Hanson tomorrow night, while Oldham-Ramona-Rutland will face Ethan. Mitchell Christian ends their season with a 4-15 record, and Chester Area finished with a record of 3-17.

Alcester-Hudson 44, Freeman Academy-Marion 20
RECAPS: Freeman won their second game in a row, defeating Canistota after a domination victory against Gayville-Volin on February 18th. The Flyers will now travel to Hurley to play Viborg-Hurley, while Canistota ends the season with a 6-14 record. Centerville, meanwhile, extended their winning streak to four games with the opening round victory over Gayville-Volin and will now travel to Menno. Finally, Alcester-Hudson cruised to victory, and the #6 Cubs will play Scotland in a January 26th rematch. Scotland won the first matchup 57-29.

RECAPS: Marty scored a season-high 75 points in their opening round victory over Colome, the highest of any team so far in the tournament. The Braves will now face one of the toughest teams in the state, Corsica-Stickney. Platte-Geddes, meanwhile won their second game against Bon Homme in as many weeks, and now look to get the upset against AC/DC, a team the Black Panthers have not faced since December 12th. Finally, the Avon Pirates won their four game in a row, defeating the Gregory Gorillas. The Pirates are setting sail for White Lake tomorrow, facing 12-8 Kimball/White Lake.
