Class AA

Aberdeen 61, Sturgis 58

Brendan Phillips scored 14 points to lead the Golden Eagles in a late comeback. Camden Fauth chipped in 12 points, while Grant Fritz grabbed 8 boards on his way to a 10-point performance.

Pierre 61, Spearfish 45

The Govs completed the weekend sweep behind 20 points from Jett Zabel. Dawson Getz and Luke Olson combined for 27 points for the victors, while Seth Hamilton scored 13 in the loss.


Class A

Dakota Valley 75, Western Christian (IA) 70

DV kept the 57-game winning streak alive with an excellent performance over Iowa’s #1 Western Christian at the Bomgaars Invitational at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City.

Jaxson Wingert finished with 26 points in the win, and Luke Bruns complimented with 23 of his own. Also for the Panthers, Logan Collette scored 16.

Mobridge-Pollock 56, H/SA 28

Sophomore Unique White Twin hit 5 threes and scored 25 points to lead the Tigers to the big victory.

In the loss, Trevor Gill and Xavior Ritter each scored 8.


Class B

Ethan 60, FA/M 50

Tate Lumb and Gage Hohn each dropped 13 to lead the Rustlers to the weekend win.

For FA/M, Karter Weber finished with 20 points.

Ipswich 54, Webster Area 49

Jace Konsor hit 4 threes on his way to 17 points in the victory for the Tigers. Teammates Trevor Heinz and Chet Peterson also had 16 points each for the winners.

In the loss, Matthew Mount scored 12.

Jones County 69, Bison 27

The Battlers cruised to victory behind 19 points from Cooper Fedderson. Gunnar Whitney (15 pts), Brycer Kinsley (10 pts) and Kaden Kinsley (10 pts) also where key scores for the victors.

For the Cardinals, Rylee Veal finished with 14 in the loss.

L/FA 58, Waubay/Summit 51

The Titans picked up their fourth win of the season behind a 22-9 performance from Noah Kippley. Brayden Sumption also pitched in 16 points in the victory, including 9 points in the final quarter.
