Girls Basketball Daily Recap (12/19): Larson Puts Up Elite Stat Line For the Mustangs

Class A

EP-J 55, Viborg-Hurley 45

Courtney Brewer led the Huskies’ victory over the Class B defending champs with 15 points. Teammate Kaitlyn VanRoekel pitched in 12 points.

Jenna Graves scored 16 in the loss.

Hanson 73, Avon 56

Taziah Hawkins handed out 10 assists to go along 11 points to help the Beaverettes continue their undefeated start to the season.

Kylie Haiar also finished with 22 points for the winner and Alyssa Moschell dropped 21.

Sisseton 76, Redfield 25

Krista Langager dropped 38 points to lead Sisseton to the victory. Teammate Emmalee Nielsen finished with 10 points, while Katie Rozell scored 14 for the Pheasants.

Vermillion 61, Tri-Valley 27

The Tanagers picked up the win behind 17 points from Brooke Jensen. Taylor Reuvers also scored 13 for the winners.

Waubay/Summit 60, Ipswich 41

Faith Larson nearly completed a quadruple-double for the Mustangs, finishing with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 7 steals in the contest.

Eva Benike also scored 13 for the Mustangs and Bri Geditz led the Tigers with 11 points.

Winner 58, Bon Homme 35

Emily Sachtjen finished 22 points as the Lady Warriors cruised to victory.

For Bon Homme, Olivia Bures scored 10.

Centerville 55, Gayville-Volin 34

The Tornadoes continued their undefeated run atop Region 4 with the victory on Tuesday night.

Lillie Eide led the contest with 18 points for the victors and teammate Althea Gust scored 13.

Colman-Egan 52, Howard 44

Kaylee Voelker hit 5 threes on her way to 24 points in the win.

For the Tigers, Abby Aslesen and Tana Hoyer each finished with 9 points.

Harding County 60, Hettinger-Scranton (ND) 36

The Ranchers cruised to victory on their trip across the border.

Claire Verhulst hit 4 threes and finished with 16 points in the contest, while Jaelyn Wendt completed a 13-11 double-double.

Lyman 58, Colome 7

Makaylee Scott led the Raiders in the dominant victory with 11 points.

Brooke Palmer, Jordyn Scott and Skyler Volmer also scored 10 points each in the win.
