Groton Area 56, C/WL 23

The Tigers cruised to victory behind 12 points and 7 rebounds from Jaedyn Penning. Fellow Tiger Jerica Locke pulled down 9 boards, and Brooklyn Hansen and Faith Traphagen each scored 9 points in the win.

Hanson 63, Viborg-Hurley 61

Charley Nelson hit 5 treys on her way to 19 points in the narrow loss. Jenna Graves also finished with 17 and Kendra Gilbert dropped 14 in the loss.

Redfield 42, Britton-Hecla 36

The Pheasants picked up the win as Katie Rozell finished with 23 points.

For B-H, Sterling Brassfield scored 19.

Winner 62, Todd County 28

Keelie Kuil scored 13 points to help lead the Lady Warriors to the victory. Teammate Karlie Brozik complimented with 10 points while Payton Leroy led the Lady Falcons with 9 points.


Class B

Harding County 80, McIntosh 12

Macey Wendt hit 6 threes to help her to an incredible triple-double with 26 points, 18 rebounds and 13 blocks. Teammate Jaelyn Wendt scored 20 points and pulled down 16 boards, while Raelee Hunsucker finished with 18 points for the victors.

Hitchcock-Tulare 47, Northwestern 42

Katelyn Schroeder helped the Patriots to their first win of the new year with 18 points in the victory. Cambree Hoekman also scored 12 points for Hitchcock-Tulare.

In the loss, Adrianna Ratigan led with 15 points.

Howard 55, SC/W 51

Abby Aslesen had another big performance, leading the Tigers with 26 points and 17 rebounds in the win.

For the Blackhawks, Liz Boschee grabbed 10 rebounds on her way to 18 points.

Freeman 59, Bridgewater-Emery 48

Rylee Peters (19 pts) and Ashlin Jacobsen (18 pts) combined for 37 points to lead the Flyers to victory.

For B-E, Hayden Hofer scored 18 and Oakley Weber finished with 11.

Lyman 49, Gregory 27

Makaylee Scott finished with 19 points and 8 rebounds to lead the Raiders to the victory. Skyler Volmer complimented with 14 points and Jordyn Scott pulled down 10 boards.

T-D/A 47, Scotland 15

The Nighthawks cruised to victory behind 23 points from Megan Reiner. Teammate Kinley Spaans also grabbed 9 rebounds in the win.

For Scotland, Trinity Bietz had a team-high 8 points.

Warner 53, Ipswich 18

Kyra Marcuson scored 12 points in a balance attack for the victorious Monarchs.
