The O’Gorman Knights duo of Jake Wheeler and Jackson Bjorkman threw 12 innings of shutout baseball help punch their squads’ ticket to the state tournament.

SIOUX FALLS- Jake Wheeler threw a complete game two-hitter for the Knights. The hurler also struck out four and gave up just one walk in the win.
Offensively, Charlie Hueners scored twice on two hits and Hunter Den Boer drove in two runs with a double in the first inning.
O’Gorman 11, Jefferson 0 (5 IN)
The Knights scored all 11 runs in the second inning, utilizing nine walks, three hits and two HBPs to complete the rally.
Hueners drew three of those free bases, and Trenton Fischer and Brogan Moffitt had two walks each.
Jackson Bjorkman threw a shutout by scattering seven base runners and striking out seven batters.
