Henry Hammrich was 3-3 with 2 runs in the victory and Max Kjelden hit 2 doubles in the win. Also for Brookings, Cole Mahlum had 3 hits and Jackson Krogman was 2-2 with 2 r.b.i.

Lincoln Hardin threw a complete game 2-hitter, striking out 5 with 3 walks as Brookings earns the doubleheader sweep.

Dawson Bietz threw the complete game victory, scattering 8 hits while keeping Hanson to zero runs with 6 strikeouts.

Bietz also had 2 hits in the win, while teammates Jordan Gall and Turner Nicholson had 2 hits each with a double.

Vermillion 3, Parkston/Ethan/Tripp 2

Vermillion scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd and secured the victory with 4 more scoreless innings.
