SFC 10, West Central 8 (8 IN)
The Trojans of West Central rallied with two runs to tie in the bottom of the 7th, but SFC answered with a pair of runs in the 8th inning to secure the win.
Tate Snyder threw the final 4 2/3 innings in the victory for the Chargers, striking out 10 while giving up 2 earned runs. Offensively, Tim DeSautel went 2-4 with two runs and a double, while Jacob Docter hit a triple and drew a walk.
Wagner 8, Parkston 6
Carter Cournoyer hit a go-ahead two-run RBI double in the bottom of the 6th to secure the victory for Wagner, while striking out seven batters in three innings of work to get the win on the mound.
Also in the victory, Hunter Loeffler reached first three times in the leadoff spot while driving in two runs.
For the Trojans, Luke Bormann and Taite Klumb had two hits each in the loss.
Tea 8, C/C-E/F 1
Nathan Babb was electric on the mound for the Titans, striking out 11 batters in a complete game effort, while scattering five hits in the win.
The middle of the Titans’ lineup put together six hits in the win, including two each from Ethan Vis, Logan Boom and Babb. Vis also scored three runs and hit a triple in the victory, while Babb drove in two runs and earned a pair of walks.
Lennox 8, Baltic 7
The Orioles put together a five-run 4th inning, and held off a late four-run rally in the final frame from Baltic to secure the win,
Talen Eich hit a triple among three hits and drove in two runs to lead the way for Lennox, and Braxton Musser complimented with a 3-3 performance.
For Baltic, Tayden Hansen scored a pair of runs on three hits, while also driving in two runs.
Centerville 18, Canton 0 (4 IN.)
The Tornadoes scored 15 runs in the 4th inning to secure the victory over the C-Hawks.
Luke Knight lead the way in the win, throwing two shutout innings and striking out four batters. In fact, Centerville’s pitching staff gave up just one hit and one walk to go along with eight strikeouts.
Offensively, Logan Bobzin went 3-3 with three RBIs and a triple, Aiden Bobzin smashed two doubles among three hits in the leadoff spot, and Miles Eide scored a trio of runs and drove in three RBIs with a 3-4 day.
