Boys Basketball Daily Recap (1/11): Tietz Continues Dominant Run, Chieftains Hit 12 Threes in the Win

Class A

Crow Creek 60, Mobridge-Pollock 55

The Chieftains picked up a huge win on the road with 12 makes from behind the arc. Mickael Bernard made three of those shots on his way to 12 points for the winners, while Jackson Eisemann lead with 16 for M-P.

E-LB 69, Arlington 38

Eliot Erickson (15 pts), Tanner Drietz (14 pts) and Colt Beck (10 pts) each finished in double figures for Elks.

In th loss, Paxton Rheault finished with 19.

Groton Area 71, Tiospa Zina 44

Lane Tietz continued his dominant run, scoring 31 points in the victory. Fellow Tiger Jacob Zak complimented with 14 points.

For the Wambdi, Carvin Fish scored 15.

Hamlin 84, Webster Area 44

Easton Neuendorf led with 17 points as the Chargers cruised to victory. Evan Stormo also scored 15 in the win.

Milbank 75, Redfield 30

Garrett Mertens dropped 20 points to help lead the Bulldogs to victory, and teammate Josh Pederson complimented with 17. Jackson Wildung also pulled down 8 rebounds and scored 7 points for Milbank.

Platte-Geddes 71, MV/P 41

Zach Baker finished with 23 points in the loss.

Castlewood 68, Great Plains Lutheran 38

Alex Heil lead the Panthers with 11 points in the loss.

Jones County 77, Lyman 41

Kaden Kinsley (25) and Cooper Feddersen (20) combined for 45 points in the victory. Kinsely hit 8 threes in the contest, while Feddersen also grabbed 11 rebounds.

St. Mary 71, O-R/R 36

The Cardinals cruised to victory as Maverick LeBrun (24 pts) and Trevon Beckman (23 pts) each had big nights.
