Dakota Valley 13, Centerville 3 (6 IN)
NORTH SIOUX CITY- Jackson Boonstra hit a grand slam to finish the contest in the sixth inning. The Panthers drew 11 walks in the game, including three from Jack Wiese and two free bases each from Garrett Anderson and Grant Van Den Hul. Also for the victors, Beau Jones went 2-4 with a trio of RBIs.
For Centerville, Brennen Tople had two hits.
Dakota Valley 15, EP-J 4 (5 IN)
NORTH SIOUX CITY- The Panthers completed the Sunday sweep with 12 hits. Anderson, Boonstra, Drew Lukken, Brendan Barnett, and Beau Pollema each had two hits in the victory. Wiese also had a two-run home run for DV.
For EP-J, Keaton Gale went 2-3 with a RBI and a run.
Region 2
Redfield Area 11, Sioux Valley 1 (5 IN)
REDFIELD- After three scoreless frames, the Muskrats put together a five-run rally in the fourth inning and a six-run rally in the final frame to secure the win.
On the mound, Kevin Weller (1 IN, 3 K) and Elijah Morrissette (4 IN, 6 K) combined for the no-hitter for the victors.
W.I.N. 14, O-R/R/A 4 (6 IN)
NORTHVILLE- W.I.N. collected 15 hits in the contest. Alec Mikkelson, Gavin Lane and Chays Mansfield each had three hits each and teammate Devon Fischbach scored three times in the leadoff spot via four walks and a hit.
For the Rebels, Brennon Bickett went 2-3 with a double and 3 RBIs in the loss.
Howard 17, E-LB 2 (4 IN)
CANOVA- The Tigers cruised to victory behind an excellent offensive performance. Luke Koepsell had a three-hit contest to lead the way. Kolt Koepsell and Weston Remmers also each had two hits for the winners and Karsyn Feldhaus scored four runs on three walks and a hit.
In the loss, Samuel Schuurman had two hits for the Blue Sox.
Region 3
Lennox 10, C-E/F 0
LENNOX- Braxton Musser completed a five-inning no-hitter with 11 strikeouts.
At the plate, Musser connected for a pair of hits, as did teammates Isaac Bambas, Triston Butler and Ashton Bach.
Tri-Valley 8, Hamlin Area 3 (6 IN)
BALTIC- Tyler Groenewold punched out 10 batters in six innings of work and Alex Wingen had three strikeouts to finish the contest and secure the no-hitter.
Carter Sorenson led the victors with a 3-3 performance and teammates Everett Althoff, Cyrus Kirstein and Wingen each had two hits.
In the loss, Tate Everson drew two walks.
Dell Rapids 10, HBE 0 (5 IN)
DELL RAPIDS- Dell Rapids continued their excellent run with an early victory at home. Jack Henry led the defense with a one-hitter on the mound, punching out nine batters with one just walk.
At the plate, Henry drove in two runs on a pair of walks and a single, and Mason Stubbe scored twice on three walks and a base hit.
West Central 9, Baltic 4
BALTIC- Keaton Vessells went 3-3 with two walks and a pair of RBIs to help the Trojans secure the road victory. Teammate Anthony Lanham also had a double and a triple, and Rayce Whiting scored three runs on two hits and two walks.
For Baltic, Braxton Allen went 2-4 in the leadoff spot and Beau Breece had a double to go along with two walks.
Region 4
St. Thomas More 6, Bennett County 3
MARTIN- The Cavs started off the game with a three-run frame and continued to play well to earn the road victory. Spencer Johannessen, Holden Griswald and Joe Giacametto each had two hits in the contest.
For Bennett County, Jordan Risse had two hits with a RBI and Maddux Risse drew two walks.
