We decided to make a Top 10, regardless of Class or the Media Poll. It has our biggest hot takes to date, so be sure to give it a read through.
1- Washington 8-0
A big win against Harrisburg also holds the Warriors at the #1 spot for the time being. The Warriors have played fantastic basketball so far this season, and are hunting down a perfect season. Their road It won’t be easy though, as Washington faces Brandon Valley on Tuesday and then RC Central on the Feb 13th.

2- Dakota Valley 9-0
I mean, what else can you say? They are just a bunch of winners. They have a big game today against Sioux Valley and we debated putting these rankings out before then, but eh, we are Digital Z Sports. We stand by what we say in these rankings. They also have a big game this week against SF Christian, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the Panthers end the week undefeated.

3- Mitchell 9-1
Really surprising loss against SF Christian, but otherwise, the Kernels have a solid season. They won’t have another big game for a while, so expect the Kernels to come into Feb 11th Roosevelt game with a great record.

4- Yankton 9-2
They have lost two big games this year, but have bounced back with a win against Aberdeen Central. They really need to get the win against Roosevelt, and again, we think it will come down to 3-point shots at the end of the game.

5- Sioux Valley 12-0
12-0. Big win against De Smet and could get a big win today against Dakota Valley. Enough Said.

6- Vermillion 9-0
We have said that the Tanagers are good and they proved it with a 12-point victory over SF Christian. Couple big Dak XII games against West Central and Dell Rapids.

7- De Smet 10-1
The Bulldogs picked up a big win against Howard, and now have a huge game tonight against Platte-Geddes. Right now, they are the team to beat in Class B.

8- Roosevelt 9-3
Two tough losses against Washington, but what can you say? Washington is good. What hurts them the most is the home loss against Huron.

9- Harrisburg 6-2
They have lost their two most important game to date in the last week, and both by double-digits. Will have a few games to work on their play before they face RC Central on the 30th.

10- SF Christian
They have a tough loss against O’Gorman, and a 13-point loss against Vermillion, but the Chargers have the toughest schedule in South Dakota. Two more big games this week against Tea Area and Dakota Valley
