The Rough Riders became the only team to earn the series sweep on the road in the 2024 postseason.

BROOKINGS- The Rough Riders created a three-run rally in the final frame to earn the road win. Tucker DeHaan led the rally with a SAC fly to score Tyson Albertsen, then Jacob Mongar followed by scoring Lawsen Hensley on an error and Jaxon DeHaan helped add on an insurance run by scoring Jaxsen Grevengoed on a single.
On the mound, Hensley earned the save with two punchouts in the final inning. Jacob Mongar also provided a quality start, striking out four batters in five innings while only giving up one hit and two walks.
For Brookings, Owen Schneider drew two walks.
Roosevelt 5, Brookings 4
The Bobcats put together a three-run rally of their own in the seventh inning, but it was not enough to relinquish the Rough Riders’ lead.
At the plate, Grevengoed reach first three times via two walks and a hit, and Noah Verdoorn went 2-3 with a run and a RBI.
In the loss, Schneider and Jase Bauer had two hits each.
