The Stevens Raiders defeated their crosstown rivals, Central, to clinch their spot in the state tournament.

RAPID CITY- Jackson Dial struck out 16 batters in a six-inning, one-hit, two-walk performance to lead the Raiders to victory over their crosstown rivals.
Offensively, Luke Hanzlik stole four bases and connected for two hits and teammate Colten Morlang drove in two runs on two hits of his own. Teammate Blake Olmsted also scored three runs.
Stevens 18, Central 1 (4 IN)
Stevens collected 17 hits to clinch the state tournament appearance. Ethan Wilson (3-4, 2 R, 2 RBI), Hanzlik (2-2, 2 RBI, R), Olmsted (2-3, 2 R) and Morlang (2-4, 3 RBI, 2 R, HR) had multiple hits in the win.
On the mound, Morlang threw a complete game, striking out eight.
