Drew Ryken had 2 hits for the Bucks, but Yankton again couldn’t match Washington. Andrew Glovich threw 6 innings for the Warriors, striking out 8 while giving up 4 hits and walking 2. Glovich also had a home run in the top of the 5th inning.
Garretson 15, Baltic 9
In a high-scoring game, Josef Zahn had 3 hits and 2 runs to lead the Blue Dragons to victory. Teammates Jayse Miller and Jake Schroeder scored 3 runs each for Garretson, while Tayson Swatek also had 3 hits.
For Baltic, Riley Schultz had 2 hits, while Hunter Larson, Easton Nordbye, Andrew VanDam, and Riley Dobbins had 3 walks each.
Dell Rapids 13, Sioux Falls Christian 2
Dell Rapids returned to good play, and cruised to a 13-2 victory against the Chargers.
Landon Ruesink earned the win for Dell Rapids, throwing 6 strikeouts in 4 innings, while also giving up 4 hits and 5 walks. Ruesink also scored 2 runs on 2 hits, and Treyse Eastman had 2 hits and 3 runs. Will Jaton added 2 hits to the Dell Rapids total of 13 hits in the game, while Brayden Pankonen had 2 strikeouts in 1 inning of pitching.
For the Chargers, Isaiah Mulder had 2 hits and Andrew Dykstra had a double.
Beresford 12, Canton 0
Logan Serck struck out 11 in the victory while giving up 2 hits and 2 walks. Serck also had 2 hits and 3 runs while Jake Goblirsch had 3 hits for Beresford. The Watchdogs finished with 12 hits in the game, including 2 from Kolby Scheifen.
